At the 45th annual Rochester Institute of Technology Wrestling Invitational, Gaydosh overcame the second seed in a surprise 8-0 shut out and two other matches to advance to the championship round. This was his first collegiate title match. He was one of only three Blue Streaks to compete in the championship round.
