The sophomore started out the season well in his first three performances of the 2013 season. Huddle batted .400 this past weekend, providing a number of key hits for the Blue Streaks. In the team's season opener against Case Western Reserve on Friday, he hit 1-3 with a walk. Huddle then notched two hits in four at-bats in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Allegheny. The shortstop finished out the weekend by hitting 1-3, walking twice and knocking in a run. Huddle also scored two of JCU's eight runs on the day.
