John Carroll University Athletics

With the John Carroll University softball team playing six games in three days over the weekend (4/11-4/13), Byrnes was depended upon as the pitching staff ace. Byrnes pitched in five of those six games for the Blue Streaks, leading JCU to a 4-1 record in the five games she started. Through those five games, Byrnes allowed just 12 runs and 28 hits in 34 innings pitched, and struck out 31 batters to lead the Blue and Gold.
