She certainly did her part in John Carroll's return to the oval as her strong day helped the Blue Streaks finish 3rd overall at the Dave Lehman Invitational at Otterbein. She was aprt of the 4x200 team that set the school record going for a time of 1:47.10. Powell would not stop there as she took first place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.00, winning the event by .08. The junior will be a leader for the Blue Streaks during this indoor and spring season.
