Senior Matt Collins and his classmates went out winners on Saturday night at Shula Stadium
John Caroll used three first half goals to cruise to a 5-1 win over Muskingum University Saturday night at Don Shula Stadium, securing a league-record 16th appearance in the upcoming Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament.

It was "senior night" for the JCU seniors at Shula Stadium, and though none of the seniors figured into the scoring, they were sent out winners by their underclassmen teammates.
Michael Zumerling struck first when he put in a shot off a free kick from
Jake Milli just 187 seconds into the match. It was Zumerling's first goal of the year.
At the 12:07 mark,
Joe Ciacchi cashed in on a Thor Erikson corner kick that Zumerling redirected. JCu would up the lead less than six minutes later to 3-0 when
Andrew Fatigati finished off a
Kyle Buxman pass.
Muskingum would close to within 3-1 in the 40th minute on an Ian Stipes goal.
JCU ended all drama within the first 15 minutes of the second half. Ciacchi scored his second goal of the evening in the 53rd minute, while Fatigati added his second goal of the match at the 58:28 mark.
John Carroll moves to 9-6-5 overall and 3-3-3 in the OAC. Muskingum ends its year at 7-11 overall and 2-7 in league play.
For the first time in its history, John Carroll will be the #6 seed in the OAC Tournament. The Blue Streaks will be at #3 seed Baldwin-Wallace in a quarterfinal round match to be played Tuesday, November 3.
