Heidi Benson had a win in the 1000 Free and a close second in the 500 Free against Ohio Northern
The winners of the last two Ohio Athletic Conference Championships met Saturday in Ada, and the regular season showdown went the way of Ohio Northern as John Carroll fell by a 169-129 score.
Final Results
Heidi Benson was one of six individual winners for the Blue Streaks. She captured first place in the 1000 Yard Free in 11:12.72.
Benson also took second in the 500 Free, losing by less than a half second (5:28.23 to 5:28.65) against Kaitlyn Early.
Rachel Mizner made her first splash in the rivalry against Ohio Northern a succesful one by winning the 200 Free in 2:02.60 and the 100 Free in 56.49, as did fellow freshman
Julia Adams in the 100 Back (1:02.42) and 200 Back (2:17.99).
Mizner also had a second place finish in the 500 Free (26.08)
Brittany Krauth also turned in a winning effort with a first-place showing in the 400 IM, touching first in 5:00.97.
