Honorable mention all-conference golfer Britt Coder helped lead a second day rally at the 2009 OAC Women's Golf Championships

The John Carroll Blue Streaks earned a fourth place finish at the 2009 Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship, using a strong second day effort to leap into the top four for the third year in a row.
After a runner-up finish in 2007, the Streaks have placed fourth in each of the last two conference championship tournaments.
Otterbein won the title handily with a score of 665, with Ohio Northern (706), Heidelberg (763), John Carroll (776) and Capital (778) rounding out the top five.
The Streaks used the third best team score on Sunday to move past Capital into fourth place. JCU's second round total of 379 at the River Green Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio, was bested only by Otterbein and Ohio Northern.
Maura Reilly (Chicago,IL) and Brittney Coder (Attica, OH) were the top two finishers for the Blue Streaks. Reilly carded rounds of 95 and 93 for a two-day total of 188, good for sole possession of 14th place. Coder was just as consistent, shooting 97 and 95 for a final score of 192, tying her for 16th place.
Both Reilly and Coder were named honorable mention All-OAC for the 2008-09 campaign.
Ashley Pettibon was 25th in her first OAC Championship, authoring one of the biggest improvements from day one to day two (103-94=197), while fellow rookie Kristen Courtney was 26th (102-97=199).
