Joe Bossard improved to 2-0 on the year by limiting Case Reserve to zero runs and four hits in seven innings
Joe Bossard (Sagamore Hills, OH, Trinity) threw seven innings of shutout baseball, and the Blue Streaks offense supplied plenty of runs as John Carroll rolled to its third consecutive win, 13-3, over Case Reserve Thursday at Nobby's Park in Cleveland, Ohio.

Bossard scattered four hits in his seven innings of work, keeping the host Spartans off the scoreboard as he struck out five and walked three in facing 27 batters.
In the meantime, the offense was working early and often. After
John Skomra (Buffalo, NY, Canisius) scored in the first inning after leading off the game with a single, the Blue Streaks erupted for three runs in the third and five more in the fourth to take a 9-0 lead.
JCU would push the lead to 10-0 when
