Christian Wilk Earns ACHA Service Award

While the team is away from the ice this summer, its staff continues to build John Carroll's reputation. Head Coach Christian Wilk was recently recognized with the Don Spencer Award for Service and Dedication to the American Collegiate Hockey Association. In addition to being John Carroll's Head Coach, Wilk is the Executive Director of the ACHA and the associations new Women's Commissioner. He has worked with the ACHA and several member teams for 19 years, and he works hard to improve both the organization and his teams each year. The Don Spencer Award for Service and Dedication is the highest award given to active participants in the ACHA. Wilk plans to make the upcoming hockey season a memorable year in his ACHA career. "It's an honor to receive this award from my peers. I'm looking forward to a great 20th season and continuing to improve and develop John Carroll Hockey as well as the ACHA.
