David Hickey and drilled home the game winner. It was the second goal of the season.
JCU was coming off a 1-0 double overtime loss to Misericordia at home Saturday in which it had won the battle of shots, 23-10, but lost on the scoreboard. On Tuesday night, the Blue Streaks were again ahead on shots, 18-12, but this time had a win to take home.
Matt DeMarchi made five stops for the win in goal.
JCU is now 6-4 on the year, including 4-1 in true away matches. Allegheny fell to 4-4-3 with the loss.
