The second seeded Blue Streaks (9-6-3, 5-1-3 OAC) have lost only once since September 22, and defeated Wilmington (10-7-1, 5-3-1 OAC) by a 2-1 score on October 27.
The Quakers, seeded third in the tournament, advanced to the semifinals automatically after Baldwin Wallace removed itself from postseason participation.
John Carroll is led points-wise by sophomore
Brian Potocnik, who has contributed three goals and seven assists this season.
Mariusz Trzeciak and Thor Erikson have also been leaders on offense with four goals and two assists apiece. In goal, senior
Carl Contrascier allows just 1.09 goals per match and has posted five shut outs.
Wilmington relies on the scoring tandem of Dan Wicks and Coby Sabins, who have each scored five goals in 2012. The Quakers average 1.5 goals per contest and have had success in overtime, outscoring opponents 3-0 in extra periods this year.
The victor of tonight's match will play against the winner of Heidelberg and Ohio Northern on Sunday, November 4 at the home stadium of the highest remaining seed.
