After Denison trimmed the lead to 2-1, JCU picked up a big insurance run in the sixth when
Aaron Miller scored on a throwing error.
The Big Red closed the gap to 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth, but reliever
Patrick O'Brien pitched a scoreless ninth, retirng the side in order for his second save.
