On senior night, several underclassmen stepped up to deliver a clean sweep of first place finishes for the John Carroll men in a 117-69 victory over Hiram Friday night at Johnson Natatorium.

John Carroll touched the wall first in all 11 races contested as senior
Drew Edson and james McElroy went out winners in their final career home dual meet.
A 21-second win in the opening event, the 400 medley Relay, set the tone.

Michael Ian Goggins and
Nick Holvey handed Edson a lead, and he made sure it stuck with a winning time of 3:50.68.
Edson then turned around and swam the 1000 Free. After going toe-to-toe with Hiram's Job Fields for the first 900 yards, Edson turned on the jets in the final 100 to win by nearly five seconds.
Edson later won the 500 Free in 5:14.23.
David Sved won the 200 Free in 25.74, while Holvey took first in the 50 (22.41) and 100 Free (49.33).
Jacob Crain was a three-time winner, touching first in the 200 IM (2:08.95), the 200 Fly (2:07.91) andf the 200 breast (2:25.74).
Zach Morris edged teammate Bockanic and Hiram's Job Fields in the 200 Back. Morris touched in 2:11.11, just ahead of Bockanic (2:11.24) and Fields (2:11.73).
The final race was the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, and after three legs, Hiram had built a five second lead. But Sved, who narrowly missed a win in the 100 earlier in the night, churned up a swim of 48.23 to win the relay by over two seconds (3:29.77 to 3:31.93).
