It started well and ended well for the John Carroll women's swimming & diving team, as the Blue Streaks stayed unbeaten in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 132-54 win over Defiance College Saturday at the William H. Johnson Natatorium.

Amanda Casamatta started things off with a win in the 200 Medley Relay in a time of 1:55.05.
Katii Sheffield in the 1000 Free (11:33.70),
Victoria Watson in the 200 Free (2:01.14) and Crowley in the 50 Free (26.20) gave JCU a clean sweep of the freestyle events.
Fano followed with a convincing victory in the 200 IM (2:19.59).
Samantha Clark then topped the field in the 1-meter diving event (256.73 points) before.
Casamatta in the 100 Fly (1:05.89) and Adams in the 100 Free (57.73) produced victories before the Blue Streaks stopped tallying points.
With the win, John Carroll improved to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the OAC.
