With the NCAA Regionals looming on Saturday, March 1 and one OAC dual meet remaining after tonight the John Carroll University wrestling team looked to pick up momentum.

Squaring off against OAC rival Baldwin Wallace, John Carroll was unable to string the victories together to secure the team win against. The Blue Streaks fell 29-11.

After three matches, the Blue Streaks saw themselves in a 13-0 deficit that Dan Mirman was determined to overturn. Mirman won by major decision over Graham Montague 17-7. The win marked Mirman's 20th win of the season.

This momentum carried over to the next two matches as Terner Gott won by decision over Garrett Chase 10-4 to also secure his 20th win of the season. Thomas McNulty, coming off of two straight OAC pins, was able to compete and keep the match close but was unable to get the match-tying takedown to send the match to overtime as the final score was 9-7.

The last Blue Streak victory was Isen Vajusi as he won in an emphatic manner as he took a commanding major decision over Paul Rallis 20-11.

John Carroll's next match is against Ohio Northern on Thursday, February 20th. The dual will start at 7:30 p.m.
