Box Score John Carroll got off to a sluggish start, and host Richard Stockton made the Blue Streaks pay to the tune of a 4-0 loss Saturday night in what amounted to the championship match of the Seashore Classic in Galloway, New Jersey.

The Ospreys scored just 34 seconds into the match, and then stunned John Carroll with a second goal less than five minutes later.

Trailing 2-0 just five minutes in, JCU tried ramping things up and nearly cut the deficit in half at the 5:45 mark. But indicative of the night that was to unfold for the Blue Streaks, Karol Boryka's shot hit the post and bounced away.

The back breaker occured in the 42nd minute when Richard Stockton's Bobby Spracklin scored off a free kick to give the home team a 3-0 lead heading into the locker room.

The Ospreys tagged a fourth goal onto the scoreboard with yet another free kick opportunity in the 72nd minute.

For the first time this season, JCU was outshot as Richard Stockton held a 13-8 edge in that category.

JCU drops to 2-2 with the loss.
