The John Carroll women's soccer team traveled to Wooster hoping to capitalize on recent momentum. The Blue Streaks had their two-game winning streak snapped, as the Fighting Scots pulled out a 2-0 victory on Tuesday evening.
John Carroll falls to 2-5-1 on the season, while Wooster improves to 6-2-1.
Sadie Norton opened the scoring for Wooster in the 16th minute off an assist by Harper Jones. The Scots scored again in the 60th minute, as Lissette Torres beat
Taylor Tercek for the goal. Tercek had six saves in net for the Blue Streaks on the evening.
John Carroll had chances, but could not convert any of their five shots on goal. Despite not scoring, the Blue Streaks played a disciplined game, only recording seven fouls to Wooster's 13 and no cards to the Fighting Scots' two.
The Bue Streaks are back in action Friday night at 7:00 p.m. in Pittsburgh, Pa. as they take on the Carnegie Mellon Tartans.
