Three Blue Streaks scored three or more goals as John Carroll earned a second consecutive road win to start their season. 

Grace Curatolo led the Blue Streaks with six goals, adding four assists as JCU earned a 15-12 win over Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y. 

Marielle St. Amand and Gina Vilsack each netted four goals for John Carroll. Annamae Bolen tallied the other score. 

Jennifer Zacchigna led all scorers with seven goals, and her teammate Chandler Jones scored four for the Highlanders. 

John Carroll roared out to a 7-0 lead through the first 13:05, thanks to two goals each from Curatol and St. Amand. St. Amand scored two goals in just under a minute to make it a 3-0 game. JCU scored back-to-back goals in 56 seconds to make the game 5-0. 

Two minutes later, it took St. Amand and Curatolo 22 seconds to make it a 7-0 game. 

Houghton battled back, outscoring JCU 8-6 in the second half, but it was not enough to topple the Blue Streaks. 

JCU put the game out of reach with two goals late in the second half from Vilsack and Curatolo. 

The Blue Streaks hit the road next Saturday to play Wittenberg in Springfield, Ohio. The contest is slated for 1:00 p.m.
