The John Carroll football team recently announced that they will be collecting items to be donated to those affected by Hurricane Irma.
The team will accept various items, including the following:
- Tupperware containers (large)
- Camp stoves with propane fuel
- LED flashlights with batteries
- Air mattresses (twin size)
- Can openers
- Plastic forks and spoons
- Paper plates (not Styrofoam)
- Paper towels
- Small cooking pots and frying pans
- Spatula (plastic)
- Small metal knives
- Ziplock bags (gallon, quart size)
- Ready to eat meals (MRE type)
- Anti-bacterial wipes
- Rubber gloves (surgical)
- N95 surgical masks
- Tarps (12x12)
- Towels
- Battery power packs (rechargeable)
- LED camp lights
- Bug repellent
- Sunscreen
- Work gloves
- Safety glasses
Donations can be collected at Don Shula Stadium any time between 3:00-6:00 p.m from now until September 30, outside of the football offices.
