JCU On Wrong Side Of 1-0 Overtime Decision At Kenyon

It would take more than 90 minutes to find a winner in this matchup, and it would take one tremendous strike in overtime.

John Carroll University (2-3-1) traveled to Gambier, Ohio to take on Kenyon College (2-4-1) for their last road game of the non-conference schedule. Both defenses would be on
display, and a goal in the 95th minute would give Kenyon the victory.

The Ladies would have the offensive momentum in the first half. They would outshoot the Blue Streaks 7-2. JCU would have an answer for each offensive surge for Kenyon. Goalkeeper Rhianna Guarnera would record five of her seven saves in the match in the first half.

JCU would have double the shots from the first half in the second. They would also have two shots on goal from Katie O'Donnell and Jaclyn Audino in that stanza. Both teams still couldn't find the net. After 90 minutes of play, the game would go into overtime, JCU's second overtime match of the season.
Campbell Fee would have a shot from outside the box. Her shot would find the top-right corner of the net to give the Ladies a 1-0 win. JCU is now 0-1-1 in overtime games on the season.

John Carroll returns home on Sunday, September 24, to take on Thomas Moore. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
