The Blue Streaks are officially on a roll.
On the heels of a big win over Oberlin last weekend, the John Carroll women's tennis team won three times this weekend, including two over conference opponents.
The latest was Marietta, which hosted the Blue Streaks at the Beren Family Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon in Marietta, Ohio.
JCU swept the competition without dropping a single game in either singles or doubles.
Emily Day and
Madisyn Rini won 8-0 at #1 doubles, whileÂ
Skye Harwood and
Megan Reese did likewise at #2 doubles. #3 doubles was not contested.
Lauren O'Malley won her 98th career singles match by a 6-0 6-0 count over Latrice Nelson. Other singleds winners were Rini (#2), Reese (#3),
Alyssa Krupp (#4) andÂ
Carlye Campagna (#5).
JCU is now 7-3 overall and 2-0 in league play. Marietta falls to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in the OAC.
