Women's Soccer Battles Hope On The Road For 110 Minutes To A Scoreless Tie

Kennedy Newhart had two of JCU's ten shots against Hope
Box Score Last year, Hope College came to University Heights for the first time and dominated John Carroll throughout a 3-0 victory.

This year, John Carroll traveled to Holland, Michigan, for the first time looking for a reversal of fortune.

They got at least half of that fortune back.

The two teams battled for 110 minutes Saturday afternoon, but neither could find the clincher in a 0-0 draw.

Hope had the edge in shots, 18-10, but JCU rookie keeper Mackenzie Stease repelled six shots to preserve the shutout.

Brittany Dufalla had the team lead in shots with four.

John Carroll is now 3-2-2 on the season, while Hope moves to 1-2-4.
