Mairin Dalziel Reels in Another OAC Swimmer of the Week Award

Mairin Dalziel has been simply unstoppable so far this year. 
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- Joining Joe Nadur for a Blue Streak sweep of the Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week is Mairin Dalziel. 

Dalziel competed in the 200 Meter Freestyle, the 50 Free, 500 Free, and the 200 Free Relay.
    
The Royal Oak native started her day placing a stellar second in the 200 Free, just over a second away from first with a time of 1:58.30.

Later in the day, she placed second once again, 0.64 seconds from first place in the 50 Free, clocking in at 25.06.

The freshman then had to gear up for the 500 Free. Her longest race of the day was a victorious one, as she won the race by over two seconds. 

Almost surely fatigued, Dalziel was a member of the second-place 200 Free Relay to finish off her Saturday. Her effort was rewarded by the OAC with her second Swimmer of the Week award in three weeks. 
    
While the Blue Streaks did not win the dual meet against Findlay, they showed their young talent can compete throughout the NCAA, and are once again going to be a force leading the Ohio Athletic Conference for weeks to come.
