KENT, Ohio -- John Carroll Men's Track & Field had a lot of performances from their younger runners in the Jud Logan Memorial Tune-Up at Kent State University.

Ethan Domitrovich and Cormac Peppard-Kramer finished fourth and fifth, respectively, to get the afternoon started for the Blue Streaks in the Mile. Ryan Champa (12th), Jack Root (14th), Tommy Naiman (16th), and Gabe Ernest (18th) rounded out the event for the Blue Streaks as they had all six runners finish top 20 out of 53 participants.

Garrett Clark finished fifth in the 60m Dash, and first of Division III runners with a time of 6.98. Freshman Evan Piscitani finished 25th of 41 participants in the 400m Dash.

The Blue Streaks also got a solid performance in the 800m. John Shoemaker (11th), Pat White (14th), Mike Hvizdos (21st), and James Mangan (35th) rounded out the event for the Blue Streaks of the 49 finishes in the event. Cam Klauke placed a respectable 28th of 50 runners in the 200m Dash.

In the field events, Zack Szafrski finished 11th in the Weight Throw. Jimmy Kartsonas placed 8th in the Long Jump as well. Both are expected to be key contributors in the field events next weekend.

Rounding out the track events for the Blue Streaks was a stellar 2nd place finish for Cormac Peppard-Kramer, to give him two top five finishes on the day, as he held off Steven Kapes of Ashland by 0.32 seconds.

Next Weekend, the Blue Streaks will travel to Alliance to compete in the OAC Championships on Friday, February 25 and Saturday, February 26.
