Erik Daugenti Earns OAC Hitter of the Week Award

Erik Daugenti tallied 10 RBIs in three games this weekend.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- Erik Daugenti got his 2023 season off to a blazing start over the weekend.

The junior outfielder was a major catalyst to the Blue Streaks' series win over Allegheny College, as John Carroll took two of three in Beckley, West Virginia.

Daugenti batted .400 in three games with six hits. He tallied a whopping 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored.

The Cleveland native capped off the three-game series with a 3-run inside-the-park homer and a 3-run double in the final game.

Another highlight of the weekend for Daugenti was an RBI triple in the second game.

Daugenti and the JCU Baseball team will be back on the diamond in Lake Myrtle, Florida on March 5 against Trine University.
