Men's Cross Country Competes at the BGSU Falcon Invitational

Bowling Green, OH - The men's cross country team sent a small squad to the Falcon Invitational, hosted by Bowling Green University, marking their first appearance at BGSU. The men capped off the afternoon in the Bob Rothermel 8,000m race, finishing 8th with a total of 226 points.

Men's 8k Results

Leading the way for John Carroll was senior Jack Root, who placed 55th with a season-best time of 27:20. Chris Whiting followed closely, finishing 60th in 27:32. Junior Brian Standley placed 66th with a time of 27:56.

Rounding out the Blue Streaks were Johnny Peters (29:19) and Cormac Peppard-Kramer (29:21).

The varsity squad is set to compete tomorrow at the Mike Woods Invite hosted by SUNY Geneseo.
