Five Blue Streak Athletes Secured USTFCCCA All-Academic Status From The 2025 Cross Country Season
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – The men's cross country team were well-represented for their academic efforts this past fall.

Announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this afternoon, the John Carroll Men's Cross Country team was awarded All-Academic status from the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country season.

A total of five athletes on the men's side were also awarded individual All-Academic honors for their outstanding efforts not only on the course, but in the classroom as well.

The men earned a cumulative GPA of 3.50; enough to earn team status.

Highlighting the men this year who earned All-Academic honors were Phil Coury (Finance), Joey Naiman (Computer Science), Ian Paul (Biology), Chuck Reigrut (Psychology), and Sam Su (Finance).

This past season, in their first year in the North Coast Athletic Conference, the men earned their first conference championship in program history and earned a top three finish at the Regional Championships.

There is a lot to look forward to with this young squad and they will look to continue their trajectory of building upon their standard.
