Just like last year, the top four placed the same number of points, finishing 2-3-4-5 to pull away from the field in dominating fashion.

Next up was senior Dominic Delmoro, who earned his fourth All-OAC honor and placed third with a time of 24:40.1 to continue his consistency at the conference level.

Not long after, senior Tommy Naiman would follow, clocking in at 24:43.3 to earn his third individual All-OAC honor to help propel the team to carrying that low score. Senior Ryan Champa would continue to be valuable for the men, placing fifth overall with a time of 24:48.1 to earn his fourth straight All-OAC honor.

To close out the top five was senior Aidan Stone, who placed 12th overall with a time of 25:20.0 to earn second-team All-OAC for the Blue Streaks.

Sam Su and Nate Julien earned their first individual All-OAC honors, representing second-team for the men to round up the top seven, placing 16th and 17th to put seven runners in the top 20.

Coach Daniel Tutskey, Director of Cross Country/Track & Field at John Carroll University was not only proud of the way the men competed, but the growth they showed throughout the year.

"The group is really coming together," says Tutskey. "The support has been really strong amongst that group and I think that's what pulled them through today to a win."

After winning the OAC Championship for the fifth consecutive year, the Blue Streaks are looking forward to what's next and are sustaining momentum to keep them moving forward.

"Continuing to grow as individuals and athletes are going to be paramount during this time," emphasized Tutskey. "I think Coach Fuelling putting together a sound racing plan and strategy for the athletes is a great stepping stone and blueprint to help drive home what is needed to be successful."

In their last OAC Conference Championship meet, the Blue Streaks will leave on top before they embark on their next journey heading into the NCAC in the Fall of 2025.

The Blue Streaks will head to Shelbyville, Indiana for the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships on Saturday, November 16th, hosted by Franklin University, where they seek to punch their ticket to the NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships.

The men will look to earn their fourth straight NCAA Great Lakes Regional Cross Country title and will be back racing in Shelbyville, Indiana for the regional meet for the first time since 2021.
