The JCU quartet thrived in the pool and in the classroom this year.
Following a season of triumph, John Carroll Women's Swimming and Diving has even more to celebrate. The Blue Streaks finished the 2024 season as Ohio Athletic Conference Champions, with several key contributors paving the way to success.

But, for John Carroll, the dynamic impact is outside of the natatorium, too. A collection of Blue Streaks have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District status. This means that each honoree carries a 3.5 GPA and performed at a high level at conference meets.  Among the crew on the women's side are Mairin Dalziel, Anna Glass, Olivia Goodman, and Regan Gunzy.

Dalziel captured a pair of first-place finishes in the 50 and 100 Free during the OAC Championships. She added a second-place honor in the 200 Free. Dalziel also punched in an All-OAC finish in the 200 Back, good for third place.

Glass finished out her senior season with strong times in the OAC Championships. The veteran was an OAC Champ in 200 Free Relay and also All-OAC in 800 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay.

Goodman rounds out the crew of elite athletes as OAC Swimmer of the Year and an OAC Champ in 200 IM, 400 Medley Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 IM, 200 Breaststroke and All-OAC in 800 Free Relay. She was unstoppable as a sophomore this season.

Gunzy solidifies her spot with a handful of OAC accolades. The junior earned All-OAC honors in the 200 Breast, with a third place effort. But, her postseason finishes didn't stop there. Gunzy was also All-OAC in the 100 Breast, with a second place time.
