Weekend Preview: October 3-5, 2025

Women's Soccer, Football, Men's Soccer, and Women's Golf all have home events this weekend

Blue Streak Fans, here's your Weekend Preview — October kicks off with a full slate of Blue Streak action in the North Coast Athletic Conference!

Football
The Blue Streaks return to Don Shula Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 4 with kickoff scheduled at 2:35 PM, hosting Wabash College. It's Community Day, so come out and pack the stands!

The #16/19 John Carroll Blue Streaks (3–1) return home after a dominant 52–0 win over Kenyon last Saturday. This weekend, they'll face a ranked matchup — taking on #25 Wabash College. The Blue Streaks are coming off of back-to-back NCAC shutouts. 

Soccer
JCU Women's Soccer will open up the day at Don Shula Stadium for kickoff scheduled for 11:05 am, facing off against DePauw University. 

JCU Men's Soccer caps off the evening back home at Don Shula Stadium — 7:30 PM kickoff vs. Oberlin College. 

The matches are the NCAC openers for the respective teams.

Volleyball
A trip to Indiana is in the works for the Blue Streaks this weekend. John Carroll heads to Hanover College on Friday in a 5 pm match and then will be at DePauw University on Saturday at 4 pm.

JCU Volleyball sports an 11-6 overall record, winners of four in a row. One of those victories was an NCAC opening win over Ohio Wesleyan. 

Cross Country
The Blue Streaks will hit the road this weekend, bound for Kentucky. John Carroll will head to the Louisville Cross Country Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.

JCU has started off the year strong, highlighted by Sam Su winning NCAC Men's Runner of the Week honors. The Men's 8k Blue Race opens the day at 10:15 am, followed by the Women's 6k Blue Race at 11:00 am, with the Women's 5k Silver Race at 12:15 pm finishing the day. 

Women's Golf
The Blue Streaks host the JCU Fall Invitational at Manakiki Golf Course this Saturday and Sunday. John Carroll is coming off a team win at the Donald Ross Invite, looking to continue their strong fall play.
