Women’s Cross Country Tabbed Second In NCAC Pre-Championships Poll

Women's Cross Country Heads Into NCAC Conference Championships Ranked Second
CLEVELAND – With championship racing set to begin this weekend, the Blue Streaks will look to extend their momentum in their first championship appearance in the NCAC.

The women's cross country team goes into the 2025 NCAC Conference Championships selected at second-place in the pre-championships poll with 57 total points and two first place votes. 

Selected first place is the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops with 62 total points and six first place votes. DePauw rounds up the top three with 48 points. 

Finishing out the rest of the conference is Wittenberg (41), Denison (28), Kenyon (26), Oberlin (18), and Wooster (8).

The Blue Streaks are coming off of a second-place finish at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, scoring 90 points on October 18th. 

JCU has showcased their depth all season long and will now have the opportunity to show what they are capable of at the conference level. 

The NCAC Championships will take place this Saturday, November 1st hosted by Kenyon College with the women's championship 6k race set to start at 12:15 pm.
