Women's Soccer Highlights This Weekend's Events As They Are One Of Two Teams Looking To Bring Home NCAC Championship Crowns
Happy Friday, Blue Streaks! Here's your weekend recap.

With a mix of home and away games, there are plenty to attend and even more to keep an eye on!

Swimming and Diving

John Carroll Women's and Men's Swimming and Diving hosts their first meet at home facing the Heidelberg Student Princes. The teams have met twice before, both ending in victories for the Blue Streaks.

JCU looks to extend their victorious history on Friday, November 7 scheduled to start at 5 pm in the Johnson Natatorium.

Women's Basketball

The 2025-26 JCU Women's Basketball season kicks off this weekend by hosting the Winking Lizard Tip-Off Tournament across Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8 in the DeCarlo Varsity Center.

With recently named All-American Fifth Team member Ava Ryncarz leading the way, the tournament is shaping up to be an impressive show of what the Blue Streaks can do this season.

The Blue Streaks start the tournament with a 5 pm tip-off against Alma College. Afterwards, Lebanon Valley College faces Wheaton College at 7 pm. The following day swaps opponents, starting off at 12 pm with Alma and Lebanon Valley. John Carroll plays the second game of the day at 2 pm against Wheaton.

Football

A six game win streak sends the Blue Streaks into their ninth game of the season. After last week's dominant win, the team seeks to do the same and extend their successful run in the NCAC.

The Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops travel into Don Shula Stadium for kickoff at 1:05 pm. The game also celebrates Faculty Appreciation Day.

The game will be broadcast on Cleveland's 43.

Volleyball

For the first time in nearly a decade, the JCU Women's Volleyball team travels to Fredonia, New York to face Rochester Institute of Technology. The last time the Blue Streaks and the Tigers met, the victory came home to University Heights and the team looks to do the same this weekend.

The team plays two matches set to start at 1 pm and 3 pm.

Women's Soccer

After a strong win Thursday night, JCU Women's Soccer moves onto the NCAC Tournament Final. With home field advantage at Don Shula Stadium, the team has only one last opponent to overcome: the Denison Big Red.

With kickoff scheduled for 12:00pm on Sunday, November 9, the Blue Streaks are on the hunt for the school's first NCAC Tournament win.

Wrestling

John Carroll's Wrestling teams each compete this weekend at 10 am on Sunday, November 9. With both teams achieving impressive wins earlier this week, they seek to continue this strong start to their seasons.

Women's Wrestling travels to Michigan for the Adrian Invitational hosted at Adrian College.

Men's Wrestling will stay closer to home, competing in Case Western Reserve University's Bob Del Rosa Open.

Club Hockey

JCU Club Hockey hosts a home game at Gilmour Academy against West Virginia University Friday, November 7 at 8:10 pm. The team travels to Indiana, Pennsylvania the next day to face Indiana University of Pennsylvania at S&T Bank arena at 4:30 pm.
