Women's Wrestling Takes Part in Adrian Invitational

The Blue Streaks tallied four placers

ADRIAN, Mich. -- A trip to Michigan completed a busy week for John Carroll Women's Wrestling.

The Blue Streaks competed in the Adrian Invitational on Sunday as one of 40 teams participating.

With four placers, the Blue Streaks finished in 18th place. 

Results

Addy Crane and Taylor MacAdam led the way with sixth place efforts. Olivia Beaulieu and Nora Mooney also scored points as seventh place finishers.

Crane tallied a trio of wins in the 117 bracket, including a pair of tech falls. MacAdam nabbed a narrow 5-2 decision and a 10-0 tech fall to highlight her day at 103. 

Beaulieu snagged a trio of close wins in her 180 bracket. The first year finished the day with a 3-2 victory. Mooney ended up winning four matches at 138, including a 8-0 conquest to end the day.

Next Up
The Blue Streaks will head up to Michigan for the Albion Invitational next Sunday.
