4 Blue Streaks Heralded as NWCA Scholar All-Americans

A quartet of Women's Wrestlers won academic honors

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- The National Wrestling Coaches Association has honored a quad of Blue Streaks as Scholar All-Americans. 

The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has released their Scholar All-American Teams and four Blue Streaks were honored. 

Nora Mooney, Addy Crane, Taylor MacAdam, and Kaiden Boshers rep the Blue Streaks as Scholar All-American athletes. 

Sophomore Nora Mooney shined bright for the Blue Streaks this year with a profound 30-11 record while excelling in the classroom. The English and Political Science major earned her spot on the Scholar All American Team by shining bright in the classroom while producing for the Blue Streaks on the mat.

Sophomore Addy Crane excelled in the classroom as well as the mat with an impressive 27-13 record. The Engineering Physics major took care of business in the classroom earning her a spot on the Scholar All-American Team. 

Pre-Nursing major Taylor MacAdam shined in the classroom while being a force on the mat with an excellent 26-14 record. The first year earned her spot on the Scholar All-American team with her work in the classroom for the Blue Streaks.

First year Kaiden Boshers had an excellent season with the Blue Streaks while also excelling in the classroom. The Exercise Science major shined brightly in the classroom landing her a spot on the Scholar All-American Team.
