For starters on Wednesday, aka Day 1 with a lone event, the Blue Streaks got things going with a conference record. Ella Muzychak, JJ Gowetski, Bree Shirkey, and Mairin Dalziel roared for a fantastic start, clocking in at 7:43.87. That time was enough for a new school record.

Thursday's finals festivities began with a strong win in the 200 Free Relay. Taylor Hudson, Grace Roberts, Shirkey, and Dalziel combined for a marvelous mark of 1:36.73, nearly two seconds better than the second placers.

Muzychak snagged her first career individual All-OAC medal in the 500 Free. The rookie from Magnificat marked down a time of 5:18.27 for third.

Speaking of star first years, JJ Gowetski won by a clear margin in the 200 IM. The Conneaut Lake, PA native tabbed a time of 2:08.70 for first. Olivia Goodman also contributed points, coming in third at 2:11.18 for an All-OAC honor.

To put a bow on Thursday's action, John Carroll captured the victory in the 400 Medley Relay. Audrey Sevald, Goodman, Gowetski, and Dalziel marked down the top time to end the night. The JCU quartet tabbed a time of 3:53.89, beating the second placers by over 10 seconds.

Day 3 will begin with prelims on Friday at 10 am. The finals will start at 6 pm.
