4 Blue Streaks Garner Academic All-District Honors for Women's Swimming & Diving

Meunier, Dalziel, Gunzy, and Jarosz repped the Blue Streaks

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- Four Blue Streaks earned honors from the College Sports Communicators. 

Mairin Dalziel, Regan Gunzy, Maddie Jarosz, and Annie Meunier garnered Academic All-District for John Carroll Women's Swimming & Diving. 

Mairin Dalziel enjoyed a banner junior season. The junior earned a bevy of All-OAC honors, but most impressively, took home the Ohio Athletic Conference's Most Outstanding Swimmer Award. Dalziel thrived this season, serving as one of the team's top stars. Dalziel is an Early Childhood Education major.

Regan Gunzy helped to guide the team as a veteran leader. The Mesa, Arizona native picked up a pair of All-OAC performances in the breaststroke events at the OAC Championships. The team leader also excelled in the classroom was a Biology major. 

Maddie Jarosz brought plenty of energy and leadership to the team this season. The senior stood strong while helping guide JCU to an undefeated mark in OAC duals plus another conference title. The English major from Saint Joseph Academy did quite well academically, too. 

Annie Meunier thrived this season in the diving well. The senior took home the OAC crown in the 3 Meter Diving impressively. The Plainfield, Illinois native secured her B cuts, as well, getting the chance to compete at the NCAA Regional Championships. She did well academically as an lnternational Business with Language & Culture major.
