Basheer Alramahi Collects Third OAC Athlete Of The Week Award

Basheer Alramahi Earns His Third OAC Athlete Of The Week Award Of The Season
WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Athletic Conference awarded their athlete of the week to a star Blue Streak sprinter. 

Junior from Westlake Basheer Alramahi adds to his already decorated career with the Blue and Gold receiving this honor for the third time. 

Last week at the Wooster Invitational, Basheer competed in three events and earned first place in all. First in the 400 meter running a first place 47.14. Alramahi also competed in team events in the 4x100 and the 4x400 relays. The squads finished first in both events with a time of 41.83 and 3:18.65 respectively.  

Alramahi currently sits first in the OAC and third in all of Division III in the 400m dash and third in the OAC in the 4x100m relay.

Basheer Alramahi and the Blue Streaks track and field units go back to work this weekend in Alliance, Ohio for the John Homon Open Invite hosted by the University of Mount Union.
