Sophomore Sam Su Wins His First NCAC Athlete Of The Week After Becoming First Division III Athlete To Finish At All-Ohio Classic

CLEVELAND – After earning his highest finish ever as a Blue Streak to start his sophomore campaign, Sam Su secures his first ever North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award.

The former Woodridge runner was the first athlete to represent Division III with an 11th place finish, becoming the Division III champion at the All-Ohio Classic this past Friday.

Su also earned a new personal best of 25:10.0 in his first race this season for the Blue Streaks.

The team placed fifth overall amongst all divisions, while also placing second overall in Division III with a score of 158 points.

Sam and the rest of the men's cross country team will be racing at the Louisville Cross Country Classic on Saturday, October 4th at the E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
