Women's Wrestling Handles Hiram in First Dual of New Year

The Blue Streaks are now 10-5 in duals this season

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – The opening action of 2026 went well for John Carroll Women's Wrestling.

The Blue Streaks headed to Hiram College for a short roadtrip on Saturday morning, picking up a nice win.

John Carroll nabbed a 25-13 victory, winning three of four contested matches.

Results

In the first contested matchup, Roma LoGiurato emerged victorious with a tech fall, 15-5, at 124. Shortly after, Kaiden Boshers battled for a hard-won conquest by decision at 131, 11-5.

In a nice conclusion to the day, the 180-pound matchup took the full time. In the end, Bella Cyrkiel did just enough to secure the triumph, fighting for a 5-2 decision.

Next Up
The Blue Streaks will travel to the Indiana Tech Open on January 23-24.
