Track & Field Alumni & Current Athletes Gather In The Center Of The AWE
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – It was a historic day on the campus of John Carroll University for the men's and women's track & field programs as the AWE was packed from top to bottom.

Today marked the first ever JCU Track & Field Alumni Meet in the brand new Athletic Wellness & Event Center (AWE), welcoming back so many former Blue Streak athletes that walked the halls of JCU.

From distance runners to sprinters, jumpers, and throwers, many JCU alums showed out and supported the current athletes of the program in every single event.

Former National Champions, All-Americans, Conference Champions, etc. competed and represented a program that has maintained success for several years, as well as creating many memories.

At the conclusion of the meet, all current athletes and JCU alums gathered at the center of the Athletic Wellness & Event Center and reflected upon the memories they had as student-athletes.

Coach Daniel Tutskey, Coach Jamie Dailey '22, and Shannon McConville '05 spoke and showed their appreciation for everyone in attendance.

January 17th, 2026 will be remembered as a special day for the program.
