Swimming & Diving Earns Academic Honors from CSCAA

The Blue Streaks achieved impressive team GPAs in the classroom

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- John Carroll Swimming & Diving is excelling in the classroom as well as the pool.

As the Blue Streaks gear up for the first action of the season, a North Coast Athletic Conference meet at Oberlin, honors have arrived for JCU. 

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released their Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester. Both the JCU Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving programs were honored. 

John Carroll Women's Swimming and Diving notched at 3.4 team grade point average (GPA), while the John Carroll Men's Swimming and Diving tallied at 3.7 GPA.

The CSCAA selected 709 teams representing 414 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester. These teams, representing 16,421 student-athletes, were selected based on outstanding academic performance. 

In order to achieve this amazing recognition, teams had to exhibit exceptional grade point averages during the Fall 2025 semester, alongside competitive achievement.

The Blue Streaks compete this Friday, January 23 for the final NCAC meet of the season against Oberlin College.
