CLEVELAND, OH. – Championship season has arrived and the men's cross country program enters conference weekend as the favorite.

Announced by the North Coast Athletic Conference this afternoon, the Blue Streaks are ranked first in the pre-championship poll, tallying 80 points with eight first place votes.

In second with one first place vote are the Dension Big Red with 67 total points, followed by Depauw University with 63 points to round out the top three.

Kenyon College (59), Oberlin College (44), Wabash College (33), Wittenberg University (30), Ohio Wesleyan University (19), and the College of Wooster (10) finish out the rest of the conference.

The men have earned a lot of success at the conference level.

Last season, the Blue Streaks accomplished a historical feat, breaking the program scoring record with 24 points headlined by a 1-2-3 finish. The group went on to win their first NCAC Championship for the first time in school history.

This group will look to continue their momentum at the conference championships this weekend, led by Coach Steve Fuelling.

The men's 8k championship race is set to begin at 12:00 pm (ET). Meet previews to come in the next few days.
