Addy Crane enjoyed the best day of the JCU squad on Sunday. The Thornville, Ohio native strolled to a pair of 10-0 tech falls to get into the 110 final. In the title bout, the first year outlasted Alma's Mia Sharp in a 10-2 decision, claiming the crown. Crane has now won first place at two straight tournaments.

Nora Mooney cruised to the finals at 138. The Magnificat grad rolled in a pair of first-period pins plus a 14-4 tech fall in the quarterfinal. But the first year's luck ran out in a pin loss in the final bout.

Leslie Sullivan opened her 145 bracket with a pin that took 4:27. While the Medina native lost her next match, the rookie rebounded in the consolation bracket. Sullivan notched a pin, garnered a forfeit, and a 12-2 tech fall to get to the third-place match. Her run ended there after a hard-fought 8-2 decision.

Bella Cyrkiel started a stacked 160 bracket off on a tough note with a defeat. But the sophomore scored a 13-2 tech fall to rebound quickly. The Channahon, New York native fired up a 7-1 decision and then notched a pin in 2:56 to get into the third-place bout. Cyrkiel lost via a 10-0 tech fall to settle for fourth.

Taylor MacAdam clawed out a fifth-place finish at 103 by virtue of winning her third match of the day via a 11-0 tech fall.

Kaiden Boshers rolled into the semifinals with a 22-second pin at 131. Boshers lost her final two matches by pins to accept sixth.
