Men's Wrestling hosts two events this weekend, while a bigtime basketball doubleheader at Denison draws headlines, too

With busy days ahead leading up to the postseason, JCU's winter sports are ready for action this weekend.

Here is what to expect on this Valentine's weekend.

Men's Wrestling

The Blue Streaks are excited for a big weekend ahead.

For starters, JCU will host the University of Mount Union and RIT on Friday for a Tri-Meet starting at 5 pm in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.

JCU Men's Wrestling will also host the JCU Open in the Athletic, Wellness, and Event Center on Saturday starting at 10 am.

Women's Basketball

JCU Women's Basketball is gearing up for a monumental game on Saturday on the road, set to put a 6-game NCAC win streak on the line.

The #9 Blue Streaks are traveling to a big matchup against #8 Denison University Big Red with tip off at 1 pm on Saturday in Granville. A win would go a long way for NCAC title contention.

Men's Basketball

The Blue Streaks are looking to continue their conference win streak after an outstanding game against Oberlin College.

JCU Men's Basketball is on the road traveling to Granville, OH to face the Denison University Big Red. Tip off is at 3 pm on Saturday or 30 minutes after the women's game ends if the first game runs long. JCU currently leads Denison and Wittenberg by a half-game in the NCAC standings, so the Blue Streaks are in the driver's seat.

Swimming and Diving

The Blue Streaks are continuing in the NCAC Championships in Granville, OH at Denison University.

The NCAC Championships are slated to continue Friday and Saturday with prelims starting at 9:30am and finals starting at 6 pm.

Indoor Track and Field

JCU Track and Field is back on the road for another split-squad weekend.

The Blue Streaks will travel to Boston, MA for the BU David Hemery Valentine Invite for Friday and Saturday action, with Track Events starting at 9:00am on Saturday.

Meanwhile, some of the team will head to Youngstown for the YSU Second Annual Collegiate Last Chance Meet on Friday, with track events starting at 12:45 pm.

Finally, JCU will send some athletes to the Northeast for the Tufts Cupid Challenge. The Friday track events begin at 4 pm on Friday and at 10 am on Saturday.
