Sam Su Earns Second Career NCAC Athlete Of The Week Accolade After Impressive Performance In The Mile At Boston University

CLEVELAND – The Woodridge native has had an unbelievable start to the indoor season in his second year for the Blue Streaks.

After earning a new personal best in the mile at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invite, Sam Su wins the NCAC Men's Mid/Distance Athlete of the Week.

His national ranking climbs as his time of 4:08.55 puts him at 22nd in Division III currently.

Sam is now the second-fastest miler to ever come through John Carroll and has now earned his second-ever NCAC Athlete of the Week accolade. The previous one was from cross country in the fall.

His progression from the start has been exciting to watch as he will now gear up for the conference championships in two weeks.

The men's track & field team will be back in action this Friday, February 20th for the Ed Finnigan Invitational hosted by Case Western Reserve University.
