KENT, OH – The men's track & field program made the short trip to Kent State University this weekend for the Doug Raymond Invitational.

Numerous personal bests were made, as well as new conference marks that propelled their performances throughout the weekend.

It was a two day meet with the Blue Streaks going up against teams across all divisions.

Some of the most notable performances are posted below:

Vincent Ononogbo (200 Meter Dash): 23.04
Jack Arnold (400 Meter Dash): 50.83
Max Grillo (800 Meter Run): 1:53.71
Matthew Dienes (Mile): 4:24.94
Jordon Rodman (Triple Jump): 14.37 (47' 1.75")

Vincent collected a pair of personal bests from the meet in both the 200 and 400 meter races.

In impressive fashion, Jack Arnold earned himself a massive personal best in the 400 meter dash, earning a top 15 finish in the race. He is now 12th in the NCAC with that time.

The 800 meter run was an exciting event to watch as Max highlighted the mid-distance group as he earned himself an indoor personal best to move him up to third in the conference. He is also ranked 37th in Division III.

In the men's mile, Chris Whiting led the group and clocked in at 4:20.28 to place second. Matthew Dienes earned himself a new personal best to put himself in the mix.

To put an exclamation point on the weekend, sophomore Jordon Rodman broke the school record in the triple jump to place fifth overall. The previous record was held by his current coach Corey Minton at 47' 0.25" in 2019.

Rodman is currently ranked 28th in Division III and is second in the conference with that mark. A well deserved accomplishment for the St. Ignatius grad.

Next up for the Blue Streaks will be the BU Valentine Invite and the Tufts Cupid Challenge taking place in Boston, Massachusetts next weekend. Two meets that will be important for earning national marks.
