Women’s Track & Field Collects 21 All-Region Performances From Indoor Season

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH – This year's indoor season for the women has been historic. 

The women's track & field program continues their excellence by earning a total of 21 Great Lakes All-Region performances after being crowned NCAC Indoor Champions a couple of weeks ago. 

Announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday, March 11th, the top eight individuals and relays were recognized as All-Region for their performances throughout the indoor season.

From the JCU Women's Track & Field program, the student-athletes who secured USTFCCCA All-Region status included:

Dakota Houston
  • 4x400 Meter Relay: 3rd (3:54.26)
  • 60 Meter Dash: 1st (7.54)
  • 200 Meter Dash: 3rd (24.21)
  • Long Jump: 4th (5.86)
Paige Munchick
  • 4x400 Meter Relay: 3rd (3:54.26)
  • 400 Meter Dash: 8th (57.82)
Sandra King
  • 4x400 Meter Relay: 3rd (3:54.26)
  • 400 Meter Dash: 6th (57.44)
  • Distance Medley Relay: 3rd (11:50.51)
Rosie Murray
  • 4x400 Meter Relay: 3rd (3:54.26)
Morgan Dobos 
  • Distance Medley Relay: 3rd (11:50.51)
  • 3000 Meter Run: 5th (10:04.38)
  • 5000 Meter Run: 2nd (17:35.86)
Natalie Chryst 
  • Distance Medley Relay: 3rd (11:50.51)
  • 800 Meter Run: 6th (2:15.88)
Abby Schroff
  • Distance Medley Relay: 3rd (11:50.51)
  • Mile: 5th (4:55.78)
  • 3000 Meter Run: 3rd (10:00.85)
  • 5000 Meter Run: 2nd (17:34.10)
Tori Miller
  • Triple Jump: 6th (11.39)
Alyssa Vis
  • Mile: 3rd (4:53.19)

Seven of the 21 All-Region performances produced by the women were school records throughout the season; an incredible feat for this group that ultimately led to them earning numerous top 10 program marks and their first ever NCAC title in program history. 

Both Alyssa and Dakota will represent the Blue Streaks this weekend at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
