Weekend Preview: April 10-12, 2026

Softball will host a pair of NCAC doubleheaders at Bracken Field

With the weather warming up, so are John Carroll's spring sports squads.

Here is what to expect on this wonderful weekend. 

Softball
The Blue Streaks are looking forward to a jam packed weekend in University Heights. 

JCU Softball starts off their busy weekend facing the Denison University Big Red for a doubleheader on Saturday at Bracken Field with first pitch at 1 pm. 

The Blue Streaks are then celebrating Senior Day on Sunday at Bracken Field in another doubleheader. In a second straight North Coast Athletic Conference series, JCU will welcome the Wittenberg University Tigers with first pitch at 1 pm. 

All games this weekend will be streamed on John Carroll University Sports Network.  

Men's Tennis
After a huge NCAC win this past weekend against Ohio Wesleyan, JCU Men's Tennis is excited to host another conference foe and are hoping to continue their win streak. 

The Blue Streaks are hosting #5 Denison University at the Short Family Tennis Center on Saturday with first serve at 1 pm. 

Baseball
JCU Baseball is excited to face an old OAC foe this weekend. 

The Blue Streaks are traveling to Tiffin to face Heidelberg University for a single game with first pitch at 1 pm. 

Women's Lacrosse
JCU Women's Lacrosse hoping to continue their 6-game win streak with another conference foe this weekend. 

The Blue Streaks will travel to Wooster to face the College of Wooster Fighting Scots on Saturday, starting at 1 pm. 

Men's Lacrosse
The Blue Streaks are ready to continue NCAC action this weekend and are looking forward to getting another conference win under their belt.

JCU Men's Lacrosse is traveling to Greenville, Indiana to face the DePauw University Tigers on Saturday, facing off at 1 pm. 

Women's Tennis
The Blue Streaks are hoping to continue their 7-match win streak with a local foe this weekend. 

JCU Women's Tennis have been dominating the NCAC so far this season, but are taking a break from conference play to face Cleveland rival #18 Case Western Reserve University at the Mayfield Racquet Club in Mayfield Village, OH on Saturday, with first serve at 4 pm. 

Men's Golf
JCU Men's Golf is looking forward to getting back on top with this weekend's contest with a split squad weekend

The Blue Streaks are traveling to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina to play in the Intercollegiate Golf Championship playing Friday through Sunday. 

Meanwhile, some of the team will travel to Alliance, Ohio to play in the Mount Union Spring Invitational playing Saturday and Sunday. 

Women's Golf
The Blue Streaks are looking forward to another busy weekend ahead.

JCU Women's Golf is traveling to New Castle, Pennsylvania to play in the Westminster College Golf Invitational on Saturday. 

Track and Field
The Blue Streaks are on the road with another split squad weekend.

JCU Track & Field is excited to compete again after a huge weekend at the Wooster Invitational with the Men's team earning first place overall and the Women's team earning second place overall.

The Blue Streaks will travel to Alliance to compete in the John Homon Invite on Friday, with field events starting at 2 pm and Saturday, with field events starting at 11 am and track events starting at 3 pm. 

In the meantime, some of the team will travel to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to compete in the Bison Outdoor Classic, with track events starting at 10:45 am on Saturday.
