Women’s Track & Field Ranked Third In NCAC Outdoor Pre-Championships Poll

CLEVELAND – With just one week remaining in the regular season, championship season is just on the horizon for the Blue Streaks. 

Announced by the North Coast Athletic Conference this afternoon, the women's track & field team will head into the 2026 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships as the third place team with 52 points and two first place votes. 

Entering as the favorite in this year's outdoor championship meet will be Ohio Wesleyan University with 60 points and four first place votes. 

Coming in ranked second are the Tigers of DePauw University with 56 points and two first place votes. 

Rounding out the final five teams in the latest poll are Wittenberg (36), Denison (35), Kenyon (25), Oberlin (16), and Wooster (8). 

This past February, the women conquered the 2026 NCAC Indoor Championship title for the first time in program history, scoring a total score of 166 points. 

The Blue Streaks will look to repeat history and secure their first outdoor conference championship since 2019. 

Next up for the team will be the Ashland Alumni Invite hosted at Ashland University on Friday-Saturday, April 24th-25th, as well as the 2026 NCAC Combined Events taking place at Denison University on Saturday-Sunday, April 25th-26th.
