Boyle, VonLehmden, Malley, and Coaching Staff Win All-NCAC Honors

A trio of star golfers and the JCU Men's Golf coaching staff earned conference recognition

CLEVELAND – A historic debut in a new conference warrants great accolades for John Carroll Men's Golf.

Today, the North Coast Athletic Conference released its all-conference teams, featuring a trio of Blue Streaks and the JCU coaching staff. 

Wade Boyle, Justy VonLehmden, and Austin Malley all earned spots on the All-NCAC squad. The JCU Men's Golf coaching staff garnered recognition, selected as the NCAC Coaching Staff of the Year. 

Full All-NCAC Teams


Justy VonLehmden was crowned to the All-NCAC First Team after an extremely successful season. The Findlay native heads into the NCAA Championships with a national rank of #69 and a regional rank of #16. The junior finished second at the NCAC Men's Golf Championships and has two wins and five top-3 finishes under his belt. 

Wade Boyle has earned First Team All-NCAC honors after an exceptional season with the Blue Streaks. The junior finished as the medalist at the NCAC Men's Golf Championship. Overall, Boyle finished in the top-3 at three events this season. The Greensburg, Pennsylvania native finished the season being nationally ranked at #158 and regionally ranked at #35.

Austin Malley earned Second Team All-NCAC honors after a strong season in his third year as a Blue Streak. The Middle Childhood Education major finished the season with 1 win and two top 3 finishes. The junior from Venetia, Pennsylvania carries a national ranking of #178 and regionally ranking of #38 entering the NCAA postseason.

Lastly, the JCU Men's Golf coaching staff has earned Coaching Staff of the Year. The Blue Streaks are led by Head Coach Jeff Pawlowski '91 and Assistant Coach Derek Smith '19. In the inaugural season in the NCAC, Pawlowski and Smith helped lead the Blue Streaks to three first-place finishes in the fall and two during the spring regular season. JCU tallied a total of nine top-3 finishes in the regular season. 

In their best performance yet, the Blue Streaks saved the best for last, capturing the NCAC crown with an impressive, consistent three rounds at the 2026 NCAC Championships. 

The Blue Streaks are currently in Florida, all set for the NCAA Division III Championships at Mission Report & Club, with the first round set for Tuesday.
